Vehicle Description
This 1946 Studebaker M15-A is being offered for sale for the first time in 73 years outside of the family that has owned it since 1951. The truck underwent a no-expense spared restoration in 2007 including a body-off restoration and could not be duplicated for anywhere near the listing price.
Notable restoration work includes:
Complete engine rebuilt (pistons, rings, bearings, valves). New carburetor. New fuel pump & lines. Starter & generator rebuilt.
New Clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, flywheel machined. Transmission resealed & inspected.
Brake work includes all new lines, master cylinder, all wheel cylinders (NOS), brake shoes relined, drums resurfaced.
All new interior wiring reproduction & under-hood wiring reproduction. New heater core. Rebuilt speedometer. Radiator rebuilt.
Body work includes: NOS front & rear fenders, bed header-floor- & tailgate. New hood ornament, hood center, and grill.
Interior restored. New reproduction glass door panels, roof liner. Seat rebuilt with original style cover.
Much more has been done and many spare parts are included.
The truck originated from Roodhouse IL. It's history will be included with sale along with a title dated from 1951.
